Before you start
You need an ApiX-Drive account and a BulkSMS account with credits.
In ApiX-Drive, BulkSMS is a data destination with one action: Send SMS. Set up your data source (the app that starts the connection) first.
ApiX-Drive checks for new data on a schedule rather than instantly, so messages are sent at the next update interval.
Connect your BulkSMS account
In your connection, click Start Configuring Data Destination, choose BulkSMS, then choose the action Send SMS.
Click Connect account and enter your BulkSMS Login and Password.
Select the account from the list. If it's shown as inactive, the login details are wrong.
Map the message
Choose the field from your data source that holds the recipient's phone number. Numbers should be in international format.
Choose the sender: your registered Sender ID, or the default.
Write the Message. You can insert fields from your data source to personalise it.
Test and turn on
Click Send test data to BulkSMS and check the message arrives.
Click Enable update and choose how often ApiX-Drive checks for new data.
Troubleshooting
Account shows as inactive: reconnect with the correct BulkSMS login and password.
Messages aren't delivered: check the number format and your credits, and look for the message under Sent Messages in BulkSMS.
