Create a BulkSMS API token
Log in to your BulkSMS account and go to Settings > Developers.
Click Create API Token and give it a name, for example Tethered. Copy the Token ID and Token Secret. The secret is only shown once.
Add a BulkSMS notifier
In Tethered, go to Notifiers and click Add new. Set Type to BulkSMS.
Enter:
- Access Token ID: your BulkSMS Token ID
- Access Token Secret: your BulkSMS Token Secret
- Phone number: the mobile number to alert, in international format
Choose whether to alert for all monitors or specific ones, and optionally set a schedule or edit the message template.
Click Save Notifier.
Troubleshooting
No alerts arrive: check the token details and phone number, and that your account has credits. Look for the message under Sent Messages in BulkSMS.
