Before you start
You need admin access to TurnKey Lender and a BulkSMS account with credits.
BulkSMS is TurnKey Lender's default SMS provider. TurnKey Lender uses SMS for borrower messages and two-factor authentication.
Create a BulkSMS API token
Log in to your BulkSMS account and go to Settings > Developers.
Click Create API Token and give it a name, for example TurnKey Lender. Copy the Token ID and Token Secret. The secret is only shown once.
Connect BulkSMS in TurnKey Lender
In TurnKey Lender, open the Settings workplace and select Integrations from the left menu.
In the SMS Service block, click Send SMS messages.
Choose Bulk SMS as the provider, enter your BulkSMS details and save.
Send a test message, for example by triggering a two-factor code to your own number.
Troubleshooting
Messages aren't sent: check the BulkSMS details in TurnKey Lender, that borrowers' numbers include a country code, and that your account has credits.
