If you’d like to send system generated, or automated, SMSes, you’ll need to use an SMS API. An SMS API is a code that helps one platform to talk to another platform - or device - using SMS.
BulkSMS offers a range of APIs to enable programmers to design software to interact and integrate with our service. In some cases, existing software can simply be configured to use one of our APIs, without any custom coding needed.
Once the SMS API has been integrated with your software, you no longer have to manually log in to an application or platform to send SMS messages. Instead, these protocols allow for SMS messages to be automated.
Our most popular API is the HTTP to SMS API which is a RESTful API that uses simple CRUD operations.
