How to send group SMS messages

All you have to do is upload your contacts, add them to a group, and make sure you choose that group name when you send your message. Here’s a step-by-step guide on importing groups using the Web App.

Whether you need to stay in touch with your clients, send a last-minute reminder to your staff, or even send a message to your loyal customers about the latest deals in stores - group messaging is the perfect tool to reach large groups of contacts in a single send!

Here’s a step-by-step on how to send a group SMS message:

1. Login to your BulkSMS.com account here
2. Click on “New Message” on the left-hand menu
3. On the right-hand side of the “To” field, click on the group contact icon (i.e the icon with two + people pictured)
4. Choose which group you’d like to message, and click “Add Groups”
5. Enter the text of the message you want to send (here’s how to include personalisation)
6. If you want to schedule your message, you can click schedule and choose the date and time. If not, just click Send and your message is on its way!
