When are prices changing?

On 1 September 2026. The change will happen during the course of the day, after 04:00 GMT.

Why are prices going up?

Over the past few years, we’ve continued to invest in platform reliability, security, compliance, global messaging capabilities, product improvements and customer support. This pricing update helps us continue making those investments and delivering the service you rely on.

Bundle prices in USD are not going up. However, ongoing exchange-rate fluctuations — in particular the decline of the US dollar against other major currencies — have increased our cost of delivering messages to destinations outside the USA. The 10% increase for non-USA traffic brings our USD pricing back in line with these costs.

Prices for customers billed in ZAR are not going up.

Will it cost more credits to send a message?

No. Only the price to purchase credits is changing.

That depends on where you send to. Messages to USA numbers will not cost more credits. Messages to destinations outside the USA will use about 10% more credits from 1 September.

South African customers: No. For customers billed in ZAR, neither the price of credits nor the number of credits used per message is changing.

Will my existing credits have less spending power?

No. Only new credits that you buy from 1 September cost more per credit — the credits already in your account are unaffected.

USA customers: For messages to USA numbers, no. However, because messages to destinations outside the USA will use about 10% more credits from 1 September, the credits in your account will cover fewer of those messages. This applies to all credits, whenever they were bought.

No. Prices for customers billed in ZAR are not changing.

Can I still buy at the old price?

Yes — until 1 September.

Bundle prices for USA customers are not changing, so there is no need to buy early. Note that the increased credit cost for messages outside the USA applies from 1 September regardless of when your credits were bought.

Prices in ZAR are not changing, so there is nothing you need to do.

I'm an existing high-volume customer — is my pricing affected?

Your account manager will be in touch to discuss it.
