It is possible to send and receive SMS messages within ClickDimensions using the BulkSMS platform. You can send SMS text messages in bulk to Microsoft CRM marketing lists. The messages are sent to the mobile numbers of the lead and/or contact records on the marketing lists.
It's possible to send and receive SMS messages within ClickDimensions using the BulkSMS platform. You can send SMS text messages in bulk to Microsoft CRM marketing lists. The messages are sent to the mobile numbers of the lead and/or contact records on the marketing lists. Any replies will be returned to your ClickDimensions account. CRM activity records will be created to document that the SMS messages were sent and received.
To begin using the BulkSMS Gateway from within ClickDimensions, register with BulkSMS. Once registered, you will be able to link BulkSMS to ClickDimensions to enable the sending and receiving of SMS messages. Please be sure to go through the ClickDimensions Help Page Amendments as listed below.
You can also send a text message to one or more marketing lists and receive SMS replies. Local replies are available in a number of countries as shown here.
Messages with Alpha sender IDs can also be sent from ClickDimensions.

Under the section titled “BulkSMS Settings”, it is noted that the information should be sent via HTTPS:
For example: https://azuresendevents.cloudapp.net/BulkSMSEventsListener.aspx?username=YYYY&pass=XXX. At this time, ClickDimensions are only able to accept information via HTTP. The URL above therefore needs to start with http.
Also under “BulkSMS Settings”, your password is not required for the relays to ClickDimensions.
The URL example above should therefore look like this (taking error 1 and 2 into account): http://azuresendevents.cloudapp.net/BulkSMSEventsListener.aspx?username=YYYY.
The other URLs referred to on this same ClickDimensions help page should be similarly corrected. The correct URLs need to be added to your BulkSMS user profile here.
